On Friday, October 4, 1996 the world was introduced to a
very unique radio show via the internet. This show captured
all that is aviation and brought it to millions via Real
Audio right over their computer, AND IT WAS FREE.
GENERAL HISTORY INFORMATION:
September 2001:
After approximately 260 shows and countless special
aviation events which even included a carrier landing and
show broadcast from the Pacific Ocean on CVN-72 (USS
Abraham Lincoln). The crew of PlanetAviation.Com decided to
take a sabbatical and perform other duties needed within
the United States.
PlanetAviation.Com was a radio program based on the
Internet for the purpose of informing and entertaining the
world about aviation. PlanetAviation.Com reached millions
of people world-wide via the broadcast and/or web-site.
The top movers and shakers of aviation were broadcast LIVE
every Friday right to computers via RealAudio. This
exciting radio show brought people closer to aviation than
ever before. People heard what happened in the aviation
industry when it happened!
